Step by step mixer column

To fully understand the mixer creation process, it can be useful to think of a particular mixer

column configuration, then set out to create it. You can follow this step by step example to create a

stereo mixer column with a stereo track insert assigned to streams 9-10 and a 4 band multi EQ.

1. Click “New” under the File menu. A completely blank mixer will appear, in Mixer Edit mode, as

pictured below (this procedure, and the Mixer Edit mode have been described in the

“Creating/Editing a Mixer” section of this chapter).

2. Select the Create tool by clicking its icon with the mouse:
